Do the individuals who have graduated from university deserve a higher salary than those who have not?

Nowadays, many people believe that university graduate should earn more money than others. I have a strong opinion about this issue which will be made considerably clear in the later paragraphs of this article.

First of all, as per my point of view, it is a blunder to pay somebody only on the grounds of a degree, which is surely an enrichment for anybody's curriculum but it cannot be considered a guarantee of success. Moreover, common people are sometimes more talented than graduates and, as a consequence, deserve a higher salary than the latter. For instance, there are a lot of illiterate artists who are real geniuses and they are better than untalented art graduates. In addition, it is often claimed that culture and intelligence do not depend on university studies but on one's own family and personal life experience.

Conversely, graduates deserve respect and regard not only because of all their dedication during the previous academic years, but also because they are well-equipped with an efficient approach towards new things. They are used to being easily inclined to analyse phenomenon and correct it. Furthermore, individuals who have graduated from university are experts of each particular sector and have studied for many years to achieve wealth and success.

To conclude, it has long been my belief that employees should be evaluated on the grounds of merit and it is often true that people with a lower level of education have more intuition than graduates.
